3 Days and Counting!!!

Hello All.  We are down to 3 days before we launch Our 100 Days to Change.  What is 100 Days to Change, you may ask.  It is a networking group which has been formed to generate synergy among all of its members who are looking to get a jump start and carry an increasing momentum into 2009.  We will communicate through an open forum and discuss results from a list of proactive activities.  Networking is the key to this group.  The proactive activites will be the means to fuel our pipelines.  Everyone is encouraged to participate however their willingness will greatly decide how successful they are.  I am looking for change in 2009.  I am going to grow my business.  Do you want to grow your business?  Oh, and by the way, this is a Free group.

Correction: "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent"

Thank you for setting me straight.  When I was speaking with Becky King of Keller Williams she said that this book was a must read.  By the immediate response that I have received from the ActiveRain community I know that Becky is genuine and truly a professional.  It's not too often that you find a fellow real estate agent working for another agency in the same market offering such helpful insight.  If there is anyone out there that would like to join a self-help, free networking group then check out "100 Days to Change".

"A Millionaire Real Estate Agent"

I just got off the phone with Becky King, Realtor at Keller Williams in Wilmington, NC who said that I should pick up "A Millionaire Real Estate Agent".  Has anyone read this book?

Mastermind Group--In or Out?

I began doing real estate just over 2 years ago and I've been told that I got in at the wrong time.  I'm tired of all the negativity on the news in regards to the economic status of the country and the declining housing market.  Personally, I'm ready to change my current financial situation.  I've created a group where we can coach each other.  What we are doing is setting a goal of "100 Days to Change".  I've got the support of other real estate professionals who want CHANGE too.  What we are going to do are various proactive activities which will propel our business.  Every day I will reach out to individuals in my group and provide direction.  By working as a group I believe that we can provide support to each other and coach ourselves to CHANGE.  If you would like to be a part of this group then please subscribe to this blog and we will begin our 100 Days.

There are no obligations to participate in this group.  It is being offered as FREE.  All you have to do is want to change your current financial situation, desire an increase in your real estate business and committ to yourself.

Wilmington attorneys to receive special foreclosure training

Posted by Debra Worley - email

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Soon, area homeowners will have another person on their side, fighting to keep their homes from going into foreclosure.

North Carolina has experienced a tremendous increase in foreclosures, which often leaves homeowners feeling helpless.

Now, free help is on the way for those in financial need.

December 10, the State Foreclosure Prevention Project will be training Wilmington attorneys on foreclosure counseling and loan re-negotiation.

Lawyers say they're looking forward to being able to better advise the community.

"It's important for me to try to help and take care of my local citizens. I mean, we're all part of the same community and you know a few hours of my time spent to try to help someone you know pro bono, I think is well worth it," said real estate attorney, Robert Williams, Jr.

For more legal foreclosure advice and to find participating attorneys, click here or call 888-995-HOPE.

This article ran on Nov. 18, 2008 by WECT TV6.

I wanted to add it to localism in the hopes that maybe a homeowner in the area can gain comfort during these difficult times.
